This summer, the four options for beginning and junior golfers at Albany Country Club include:
The Albany Introductory Clinic: Recommended for ages 8 and under
This option is suitable for children in their first or second year of golf. This clinic incorporates :Starting New at Golf" (SNAG) golf for younger beginners throughout the summer and selected elements of SNAG golf for older beginners during the first few days. This clinic is free for all members' children and grandchildren.
Intermediate Skills clinics: Recommended for ages 9 and older)
This option is suitable for juniors who have previously participated in the introductory clinic and who are eager to improve their current golf game. Juniors who sign up for these clinics should be prepared to spend approximately 45 minutes with instruction and another hour on the golf course with limited adult supervision. This clinic is free for all members' children and grandchildren.
This option is suitable for the intermediate and advanced junior golfer.
Junior Golf Leagues and Competitions
For those juniors ages 10 and older who are interested in more competition, the NENYPGA conducts a series of events throughout the summer. There are nearly 200 kids from the Capital District from a variety of country clubs and courses that compete.

Quick Start Tennis (Ages 9 and under)
Quick start is a beginner lesson designed for children ages 4 to 9 just starting tennis lessons.
Kid's Hot Shots (Ages 10 and over)
Hot Shots is an intermediate/advanced lesson designed for children ages 10 and over. The lesson begins with drills that work on all strokes followed by a 1/2 hour of games and match play.
Junior Tennis Inter Clubs
Junior interclubs travel to other clubs or they come to us. The interclubs consist of match play followed by refreshments and healthy snacks.

ACC's Swim Team "The Piranhas"
"The Piranhas" provides children from 5 years of age and up a great opportunity to learn swimming and diving techniques in a fun and competitive atmosphere.
ACC Summer Day Camp
Camp Activities: Typical daily activities include (but not limited to): Field Games such as kickball, baseball, soccer, capture the flag, tag games, basketball, football, relay races, dodgeball, arts and crafts, science and nature activities, free swim (daily), team building activities, golf and tennis. Camp ACC also has a variety of indoor activities available for rainy/super hot days.
